Signing into Intacct
The purpose of this documentation is to provide detailed steps regarding how to sign into Intacct. There are two Intacct environments configured for Parish-Schools-Cemeteries (PSC), production and sandbox. Access to each environment follows the same process steps outlined below.
Access to Intacct requires a user account be provisioned prior to signing in. If you do not have a user account, please submit a formal request for an account.
Steps
There are two approaches to sign into Intacct: 1) Sign In via Intacct, and 2) Sign In via Okta. All users can sign in using their Intacct credentials. Users that are also members of AOD’s Microsoft Azure domain have the option to also use Okta.
Intacct Credentials
To sign into Intacct using your credentials requires the following information. This information will be provided to you via email when your user account is created.
Company ID
The Intacct Company ID assigned to the environment. The Company IDs assigned to the two PSC environments are:
- AOD-PSC
- AOD-PSC-sandbox
Note: Company ID is case sensitive
Username
The username assigned to the user.
Password
The password used to authenticate the user.
Note: The password is managed separately for each environment. Consequently, the password could be different.
Your user credentials will be sent to you via email when your user account is provisioned. The email (Figure 1 - User Account Email) will contain your temporary password that you will need to change upon your initial login.

- Sign into Intacct PSC for the first time. Use the account credentials sent to you the “Welcome to Sage Intacct!” email .
- Change you temporary password
- Intacct will prompt you (Figure 2 - Change Password) upon your initial sign-in to change your temporary password.

Intacct uses Two Factor Authentication (2FA) to ensure your identity. The next steps are needed to setup your 2FA.
- Select “Next” on the 2FA overview page (Figure 3 - Intacct 2FA Overview).

Figure 3 - Intacct 2FA Overview
- Select the type of 2FA you want to participate in (Figure 4 - Intacct 2FA Selection). The recommended approach is to use text messaging verification.

- Define the mobile phone number to be used for 2FA.

Figure 5 - Intacct 2FA Mobile Phone Number
- Intacct will send a text message to your mobile phone that contains a verification code. Enter that code to verify your sign in.

Figure 6 - Intacct 2FA Verification
- Intacct will display a page that shows your 2FA has been verified. Click “Next” to confirm your 2FA setup.
- Intacct can trust the computer and browser you use to access the system. Using a trusted device allows Intacct to provide a richer user experience by remembering commonly used field values.
